This creamy, spicy, and slightly sweet Thai Peanut Sauce is easy to make and incredibly versatile. Perfect as a dip, marinade, or dressing for noodles, chicken, or vegetables. Make it in just 10 minutes with common pantry ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar or honey
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • ¼ cup coconut milk or warm water
  • ½ teaspoon red chili flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, and sweetener.
    Add the garlic and ginger, stirring until smooth.
    Slowly whisk in the coconut milk (or warm water) until you reach your desired consistency.
    Stir in chili flakes if using.
    Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve immediately or refrigerate.

Notes

💡 Notes:

  • For a thinner sauce, add extra coconut milk or water, one tablespoon at a time.
  • Nut-free? Use sunflower seed or almond butter instead of peanut butter.
  • Make it vegan: Use maple syrup and tamari.
  • Store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Freeze for up to 2 months.
